Hi all, a quick question around PowerBI/Office365 groups if i may ? I have a user that has developed a PowerBi app and shared it with an Office365 group. That group contains members who have PowerBi Free licenses. They cant access the app. When they're assigned permission directly they can access it. Is it a limitation of the free license that O365 groups cannot be used ?? Many thanks.

Hi. Power Bi Free license is just for knowledge. The group means nothing to power bi, the way it works is by user. You can't share or be shared if you have a free user. The only way a free user can actually look at something in power bi is if the Workspace is a Power Bi Premium capacity. Otherwise you need pro license for the users that share and received the share.
