Office 365 Power BI and Service

Just a general question, a bit confused.

Can someone tell me if "Power BI Office 365" app is the same as Power BI Service?

@Anonymous I would think so although I've never heard it called Power BI Office 365 app before. It's just the Power BI Service or the Power BI Desktop. If you are seeing an app link to Power BI from an Office 365 menu, that is the Power BI Service.

Thanks. Yes, I am basically referring to the Power BI App you can add into 365. Was just trying to determine if it were the same as the Power BI Service.

So my understading is that the app in 365 is not a "new" version of Power BI, and "not desktop," it's just regular Power BI service. Am I interepeting that correctly?
