Hey Guys,
I have a Power BI report based on Odata feed of Dynamics. In this report I have defined the following parameters: RangeStart and RangeEnd. On the table I had the possibility to turn on incremental refresh. But when uploading it to the Power BI services I can't find the parameters:
(Translated in ENG: No parameters have been defined yet for this dataset. To set parameters, use the Query Editor.)
I thought I just try to refresh it, but the following error comes up:
Can anyone help me how to fix this? Because the dataset is to large for Power BI services and takes more than 120 minutes to refresh and I don't know how to fix it else.
Hi, @Itzarthi
Odata feed of Dynamics doesn't support query folding. It is not recommendeded to use incremental refresh with non-foldable queries.
It is suggested to use the Query Diagnostics feature, or trace queries received by the source database to check whether the necessary query folding is occurring and the query send to the server is parametrized.
