I have problem, with my ODBC driver (I think so.)
I have setup correctly my odbc driver in order to work with my postgres db.:
I have set up correctly the gateway:
And it is co-responding to the powerBI desktop.
Now, when I want refresh the data, I get this error massage:
Underlying error code: -2147467259
Underlying error message: ODBC: ERROR [22P05] ERROR: character with byte sequence 0xd7 0xa4 in encoding "UTF8" has no equivalent in encoding "WIN1252";
Error while executing the query

I have read all of the community posts regarding this problem, but I did not succeed to solved it.
I tried to setup new driver for unicode:
And save the powerbi profect with this datasource:
database=....;driver={PostgreSQL Unicode};dsn=PostgreSQL30;port=5432;server=......
But when I tried to open new gateway to this path, it gives me this error:
Solved! Go to Solution.
Try to hit on the "Manage DSN" Button and changing the driver from "PostgreSQL ANSI(x64)" to "PostgreSQL Unicode(x64)", then restart and check if it works ok.
