My goal is to understand how employees of our company are using Power BI. A specific example is I want to see if the Users who have been assigned Power BI Pro licenses are actually using Pro features. I know how to get a list of Pro users through PowerShell, so that's all set.
I had a co-worker extract O365 Audit Logs with Activities related to Power BI.*
When I pull the audit logs data into Power BI, I have a bunch of Activities such as ViewReport, ViewDashboard, CreateReport, CreateDataset, etc. Is there a mapping of which of those Activities require a Pro license? Or is there another field aside from Activity which would be better?
*Hopefully the Get-PowerBIActivityEvents PowerShell cmdlet will be working soon, so I don't have to go through this.

Hi @Anonymous ,
Based on this document: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-admin-auditing#use-powershell-to-export-audit-logs
If we do not consider the premium license, the following should use pro license:
And some other activities depends to the actual situation, such as view dashboard/report depends on if the dashboard/report is shared by others, and create depends on if it is in app workspace.
Sorry in advance if we miss some activity which may need pro license.
Best regards,

Hello!
And what about "CreateReport" event? This action was enable only for PBI PRO users?
May I add this on your list of PBI PRO activities?
Because I need to filter what activities are from PBI PRO users.
Thanks in advance.
Gustavo
Could you add an update to this to indicate which activity types require a Power BI Pro licence when working with a Premium Capacity?
