Need two clicks to open dataflow

In Chrome, clicking on a dataflow to open it just refreshes the page.  A second click is needed for it to open.

Hi there

That is correct, for now it is how it works because it needs to load the data (refresh) before you can open it and edit it.

Hi @asocorrocognex ,

That's how dataflow works, one dataflow can own many entities. For you first click dataflow, it will load all entities in this dataflow. For your second click, you can edit these entities in this dataflow.

About more details about dataflow, you can refer these microsoft documents that could help you too:

  1. Creating and using dataflows in Power BI
  2. Self-service data prep in Power BI

Hi, what is happening is the following:

1 - Click on a dataflow: the page refreshes but does not change and does not show the entities in the dataflow.

2 - Click *again* on the dataflow: now the page changes to show the entities in the dataflow.

Cheers,

Adolfo

Hi Gilbert, let me be more specific.  This is how to reproduce the problem:

1- Using Chrome, go to the workspace where the dataflow is.

2- Click on the hyperlink for the dataflow.

Expected behavior: a browser page that lists the dataflow's entities.

Observed behavior: the browser page refreshes.

A second click on the dataflow's hyperlink, once the page refreshes after the first click on it, is required to get the list of entities.

Thanks,

Adolfo
