Need to get mail on outlook when Power BI data set refresh

Hi All,

We have a dataset, which refreshes at its scheduled time.

but we are not supposed to refresh that dataset.

Now we are triyng to get notify the user, whenever the dataset is refresh.

Using power automate, can we get an outlook mail whenever power bi dataset ?

could you please suggest me.

NOTE: we are not suppose to refresh the dataset using power automate. Only we need to get mail using power automate.

Hi @Santhoshi_K ,

You can configure a Flow for Power BI Dataset refresh based on this  article and then combine it with sending email notifications using Power Automate  to see if it meets your needs.

You can't set up email notifications to be sent directly in Power BI, as far as I know, you can currently only choose to send notifications to users when a refresh fails.
As workaround.
You can try to create subscriptions  for reports or dashboards, but please note that subscriptions set to "After Data Refresh" for dashboards or reports will only send emails after the first scheduled refresh.

You can also get Power BI Email alerts reports dashboards daily weekly after data refresh .

Or you can choose API-based refresh as well, which will send emails on failure by default, but it also allows you to specify when to send emails.
