Need clarification on email subscribe for dashboard

Hi Everyone,

I am having a bit of consusion regarding PBI Service Dashboard email subscription.

Let's say if I have an email subscription setup for users to receive dashboard embedded in the mail once a week on Monday.

The dashboard contains charts pinned from different reports, datasets are scheduled to refresh daily.

Now if someone opens up the email to view on Tuesday(after data refresh goes through) which was originally received on Monday, would they see updated data in the dashboard received in email? Or would they have to wait till next monday to see the dashboard with updated data values? Please advise.

The email they get is a static JPG (or PNG or GIF or some image file) so if they open it a day late, it will be out of date.

The email has no dynamic content to show them the current data.

Is there a way to get the actual usable value instead of a picture? I need to be able to store values in an Excel file.
