Navigation among dashboards

Hi everyone,

I've never developed anything within Power BI environment and there's a thing that's not so clear to me.

I have created some dashboards (which come from different reports). I would like to have a web page that shows some images and links and redirects the user to the proper dashboard. Is this possible?

Furthermore I would connect a dashboard to a second one in such a way the user will click on a button/link to get to the next dashboard. It sounds a simple thing to me (it's sufficient to use a link?!).How can I do that?

Thanks,

Regards.

Hi @rode,

I think that the URL of a published report/dashboard is always the same (also if the group in which it's shared changes or the report recevies an update), but I'm searching for a confirm by someone that does know it certainly.

The URL for a report/dashboard should be permanent once it has been created(even when the group in which it's shared changes or the report receives an update). And you can use it to create a hyperlink in your first scenario as rode mentioned above.Smiley Happy

I do think that once you have a dashboard, its URL is permanent and you can create a hyperlink to it.

But I don't know of a way that you can create a hyperlink in one dashboard to allow a user of that dashboard to click it and go to another dashboard (or any other URL). I wonder if in the "custom visualizations" someone has built a (simple!) visualization to do this?

Thank you for tour reply!

Anyway I see two ways to implement this thing:

1. it's the way that you've mentioned of custom visualization

2. it's not so nice, but it's possible to insert a link in text boxes
