Mysterious Folder on Gateway Server

Hi Community,

i've an app that refresh data once a day at 07.00.

i've installed PowerBI gateway's update (14.16.6549.2) and when start scheduled update a folder is created on the server where the gateway is installed, in C:, every time with a different name, see below image for details.

Any Ideas?

Thanks in advanced

HI @FilippoV,

I guess these folders are refresh cache folders who created by gateway refresh operation, but I don't know why they not auto deleted.

That is weird, I get the same folders on my server where I have got the On-Premise Gateway installed.

Does each folder correspond to a time when the Refresh happens?

HI @GilbertQ,

Yes, each folder correspond to a time refresh.

Hi there, thanks for letting me know. I can see it on my server also.

I am going to send an email to some people that I know to see if they have any idea's why this is happening and how to resolve it.
