Multiple admin and sharing with corporate email groups

Hi all,

Just two quetions:

  1. How can I add another Owner/Admin to a Power Dashboard to edit and update together?
  2. How can I share my Power BI Dashboard to multiple email user groups? Now, I can share with individual email user.

Thanks in advance for your help.

2 ACCEPTED SOLUTIONS

Hi @pointtoshare,

1. My dashboard URL has been shared with people already but it has been done by granting access to individual user. If I create a group it will generate a sepearte access URL and again I need to Pin all report item to the dashboard. Is there any way to add more people to my running dashboard who can edit?

As far as I know, the Group Workspace may be the best choice here in your scenario currently.

2. I have already added this way and no corpoorate email group member received the notification where all single users got it.

Are the corporate email groups out your organization? If so, I don't think it is currently supported to use distribution group to share the dashboard with people outside your organization. You may need to share it separately with each user. Smiley Happy

@pointtoshare For existing users, it wouldn't matter if you light up another dashboard and share it with them. You could share without sending an email, share it, then disable the other one. You are correct, you would need to rebuild the dashboard.

Send a seperate email to the email group with the URL code then, it will already be there for users that have signed in before. I can't say I've run into that issue.

@pointtoshare

1) You would be able to do this by creating a Group Workspace. From that workspace you would share the dashboard to your end users.

2) You can click the share symbol share.PNGon the dashboard, this open a side window on the right and allow you to input single email addresses or AAD security groups, etc. for wider audiences
