Hi,
I installed the Power BI data gateway onto the C:\ drive of a server, only to find out later that IT would like software installed on the D:\ drive. When I try to rerun the gateway installer, I get a message stating "The on-premises data gateway installation has failed. You are trying to reinstall a version already installed on the machine. If you would like to proceed, please uninstall the current version and reinitiate the install."
I can't even really find out how to uninstall the software, and based on other posts it sounds like it's best to turn off one gateway and turn on another. I have some data sources set up on this connection, so ideally would be able to move to the D:\ drive without breaking things. Is there a way to do this?
Thanks.

@nfietz Use Add remove programs to uninstall the On-premises data gateway.

I'm an idiot. I've been working with Oracle software all day and totally forgot normal software can be removed much more easily. Thank you!
