Missing Information (Lag?) on PowerBI Report Hosted on Corporate Workbench

Ive taken a powerbi report that has multiple (5 tablue inputs, 2 used in visual of interest) data input tables feeding a report that I put on our corporate workbench. However the data visible in the desktop report and on the corporate workbench are different. The corporate workbench seems to have an information lag. 

Is this common? Is there a potentially larger issue stopping my report from updating?

Can you tell use a bit more about the architecture?

Is the report running in import mode or direct query?

Is the source on prem using a gateway?

Is it a lag or does the data never update?

@JA_User Have you configured a scheduled refresh for the report published to the corporate workbench? I am assuming the corporate workbench is a workspace in the Service??
