Migration from SSAS to Power BI (without XMLA)

Hello Everyone,

I'm looking for a solution to migrate my SSAS cube into Power BI premium without using XMLA (I don't want to lost the download PBI feature...)

This is what I tried:

-Open Tabular editor with my Cube to migrate (compatibilty level 1500)

-Open a blank Power BI

-Open another tabular editor and then connect it to the blank Power BI

-Copy and Paste features from your cube to blank Power BI and save your new tabular

But when I'm going back in my Power BI Files, It returns the following error message:
can't display this visual (once again my power BI is empty)

After a few investigations, I spotted the root cause of this issue, is related to my datasource, if I added a datasource, I will meet this error message all the time

Any idea of how could I fix this issue?

Hi @Cookistador ,

Are you experiencing a situation where you are unable to display the content of a report properly? Have you installed gateway and configured the data source?
