Hi Community,

Is there any way to increase the Memory limit in Power BI?

Hi. There is no way to increase memory without paying. Increasing memory or compute means going premium or premium per user. I would recommend analyzing the performance of the visual in PowerBi desktop and negociate with the users to make it simpler. That usually happens when a user wants a big table/matrix full of big DAX measures.

Try to analyze performance of the DAX. It might be only one measure doing that. You can remove or check the best way to make it better (SQLBI videos will help you with that)

I hope that helps,

Hi @Niraj_vora0106 ,

This document detailing this problem, if you have Premium capacity, you can increase the per-query memory limit.

Refer to these articles if you need:  What is Power BI Premium?

How to purchase Power BI Premium,

How to configure workloads in Power BI Premium.

Or, as @ibarrau said, you can use Performance Analyzer to examine report element performance, then try to optimize the data model and reduce the size of dataset.
