Manage pbix source by workspace

How do you manage the pbix source version as you move from development to UAT to production?

I need the ability to see what version is in which workspace.

I need a way to track feature changes (via comments if possible) on each pbix.

side bar: do you have multiple one report page per pbix?  Or do you create a large pbix with multiple pages?

Thx for you time and consideration...

What I follow is this:

For each workspace and the report, I have organized my local folders by workspace and files folders. For each Project/file, I have separate folders as Development, Testing, Published.

Nice.  So, you are managing the source control outside Power BI Service...and there is no way to get to the information from the service.  I can do that.  Thx @Fowmy

What about the side bar?  side bar: do you have multiple one report page per pbix?  Or do you create a large pbix with multiple pages?  Do you have a standard practice there?

@DaleH

Sorry, I didn't get the 2nd question. can you elaborate, please?

Certainly...

When creating multiple pages of reports, is it better to have one pbix with multiple pages or multiple pbix with one page each?

@DaleH

You need to first decide on the report audience and the target solution domain (Sales/Finance/marketing etc). Once you are fine, create multiple pages for each PBIX with related analysis on each page, each page should talk about one particular subject, you can also add other pages for tooltip and drill-through. Finally, it optional to provide a sidebar depending on the navigation requirements.
