@MAQSupport We have created a number of Power BI reports that use different MAQ Software visuals. It appears that as of yesterday, not of the visuals are loading in Power BI service that are created by MAQ Software, but they still load fine on Power BI Desktop.
These reports have been published in Power BI service for some time with no issues. We have not changed anything on our end that may impact this. Is anyone else experience this issue? We tried republishing a couple reports but it is still yielding the same results. We also tried different browsers, devices, and networks.
Hello,
Hi @mfawaz
Based on my test,i cannot reproduce the same issue.I would suggest you install latest version of Power BI Desktop and test again. If it is not your case, please share more details for your scenario so that we could help further on it.
Regards,
Cherie
One example is the Cylindrical Gauge. What we have found out since is that when it is in Power BI desktop, there are no issues. However, if it is in Power BI Service it will not display unless we define a ‘min’ value. This was never the case until this week. We have a lot of reports that use this visual and have been published on Power BI Service for some time. How can it not work in Power BI Service but works in Power BI desktop?
Hello @mfawaz ,
Thank you for providing the screenshots.
We are able to reproduce the issue and are working on analysing it.
We will notify you on this thread when we have an update on the same.
Thanks.
We met exact the same issue. Suddenly out of nowhere the Cylindrical Gauge stopped working on all brousers of IE, Edge and Chrome on PBI service. PBI desktop looks fine.
Do you have any update on solution to fix this issue on PBI service?
Thanks
Ming
Yes, @MAQSupport provided a private fix to replace the visual in the reports to resolve the issues. They communicated that they are working on publishing the fix to Power BI service but it would take about 4-5 weeks (that was back on 3/20).
