Lost ability to export PBIX file from powerbi.com workspace

Hi,

 

I no longer have the ability to export the pbix file from a powerbi workspace.  I had this option before, but it no longer shows up under the "File" menu. 

 

If this is a setting in the Admin Portal, does anyone know which option needs to be enabled to reactivate this feature?

I am not sure exactly, but there is a tenant setting to disable exporting of the data, which might affect the downloading of the PBIX files.

Hi @rcpbi,

 

There is an "Export Data" option in Tenant settings. Please contact with your admin to check whether this option is disabled.

Hi, 


Yes, the option was available previously on existing reports.  Now when I open the same report and click on "File" my only options are "Save", "Save as" and "Embed in Sharepoint Online"
