Loss of time-aware mapping when posting from desktop to service ARCGIS for Power BI

Hi-

I have a time-aware heatmap that provides a nice animation of my data points.  It works in my power BI desktop but when I publish the report to the service the time-aware functionality (slider) disappears.

If I edit the report in the server and remove the time column then put it back, the slider returns.  But . . . it only returns until I reload the page, then disappears again.

I do notice that this behavior also occurs in desktop.  Slider is there, if I close and reopen the report slider is gone, remove and replace time column slider comes back.

Has anyone seen behavior like this or does anyone know of a remedy?

Thanks,

Tim

Hi there

Without an example to see what happens we are unsure.

If this is happening often I would suggest logging a support call for the team to investigate?
