Hi everyone,
I've recently been experiencing an issue with connecting PowerShell to Power BI. I've tried using the following commands, but all of them are suddenly (worked prior to today) giving me the same error message about the "Germany Cloud".
I've run this on three separate computers, on two different networks. Each time with the same result. Does anyone have any insight as to why this might be happening?
Exact error message:
Login-PowerBI : Unable to find cloud name: GermanyCloud
At line:1 char:1
+ Login-PowerBI
+ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
+ CategoryInfo : NotSpecified: (:) [], NotSupportedException
+ FullyQualifiedErrorId : System.NotSupportedException
Thank you.

I have the same issue on Friday.
For now, i'm checked Connect-PowerBIServiceAccount has been worked.
Maybe MS has to fix it.
I would wait a bit and try again later. Likely a temporary issue. If it persists, post about it the ISSUES forum - Issues - Microsoft Power BI Community, and open a ticket with MS to make sure they know. Support | Microsoft Power BI

MCSA: BI ReportingHi Edhans,
Unfortunately the problem has not resolved itself. I posted this to the issues forum and contacted Microsoft support as well. Several others have replied stating they are seeing the same issue with PowerShell, so hopefully they will resolve it soon. From what I've been able to read, there was a new German cloud deployment occurring this month in phases, so perhaps something got tied up there?
