Hi there

If it is an On-Premise SSAS have you mapped the usernames from the PowerBI Service to the Domain\UserNames in the Data Source settings under Users?

Hi @Anonymous ,

You need to set Map user name, replace your Power BI Service account with the your local gateway installed computer domain_name\user_name. you can refer to the link: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-gateway-enterprise-manage-ssas#map-user-names.

Also, you may resolve the issue via the troubleshooting link: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-gateway-onprem-tshoot#data-sources .

Best Regards,

Amy

Hi there

That should not make any difference.

Just be aware that using a Dev Edition for production or live data does violate the licensing from Microsoft.

I could not solve this issue. Could it be because my db is a developer edition?.
