Hi All,
I have a requirement to link data from one page to another. If a user clicks on a value in the first page, the details should show up in the second page for the selected item. Drill-though works but I am looking for an option where we can click and go to the second page and not right-click>drill-through to go to the second page.
Rquirement : User clicks on the the products column to show the details in the second page.
Page 1:
Country | Products |
India | 2 |
USA | 3 |
When the user clicks on the products column(eg: user clicks on 2), it should go to the second page:
Page 2:
Country | ID | Products |
India | B1 | Books |
India | P1 | Pens |
Could someone please let me know if there is an option to do this without using the right-click and drill through method.
Thank you.

Hi. If you want to use drillthrough without right click you can create a button for it. The button will work only when you click on a single filter context like a row in a table or a bar in the chart. Instead of right click it would be regular click and then regular click on the button. Change right click for two clicks. You can check it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Qy-bksqExI
Another approach would be URL Filtering in another tab. It might be more difficult to build, but it might work. You can check how it looks in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fu1vJJ9vcUw
I hope that helps,
