Line position changes in browser

Hello all,

I have a Power BI desktop file published to the service that contains line shapes positioned over matrices. The lines are supposed to indicate summary lines, replicating an income statement. We carefully positioned the lines in the desktop file. However, some of the users who access the report within the Power BI service see the lines in a different location (they appear to be shifted up by about 20 pixels).

I've had the users update their browsers, switch browsers, and clear their browser caches. I've found that it works best in Chrome. However, for some users with Chrome, this issue persists. The mobile versions of the report display properly, and the report displays properly in other users' browsers (and mine). Does anyone know of a potential fix here? I'm wondering if there is something that needs to be resolved with browser or screen resolutions.

Thank you,

A

Hi @Anonymous,

Please try to checkbox the "Lock object" option in desktop before publishing report to service.

The user is reporting that the lines are still off on his screen. When I log into his account from my computer or a remote machine, everything displays properly. I'm guessing there is something off with his screen resolution that is causing the issue.

Very true. I am starting and this website has answers to all my questions so far and I have been able to understand clearly too. Yay, and any problem with your chrome browser, try google chrome support phone number.
