Line data on a clustered bar line chart does not honor filters selected in other visuals

I have a PowerBI report with an TreeMap with all of our sales regions, sized by sales revenue. And on the same report a clustered bar and line chart that shows year over year change rates. The data reflected in the bar portion of that chart updates to reflect the region seleciton in the treemap. The line data however stubbornly does not.
Is this by design? A bug? Am I missing something that will make the line data on this combined chart also update to reflect the selection in that other visual?

@dkackman I can't think how this could be anything but a bug... So I went ahead and sent a sad face message to the support team.. Strongly recommend that you do the same.

What happens if you use a separate line chart? Does it update?

Indeed it does update just fine. Using the same measure as setup on the combo chart.

I am using PowerBI online connected to a power pivot model as opposed to power bi desktop (we have a heavy investment in powerpivot) for the authoring.
I'll search out the place to submit feedback about the PowerBI reporting front end.
