Hi, am looking for confirmation on whether a Pro licence is required for any user accessing PBI datasets, within a Premium backed workspace, when accessing the PBI dataset using Excel?
i.e. using Excel's Get Data\From Power BI or Insert\PivotTable\From Power BI
Many thanks!

Hi @Stuartb113 ,
No, the workspace containing the content exists in the power Bi premium capacity. Business users without a power Bi Pro license in the organization can also view the application content, but they only have the function of viewing, and cannot copy reports or create reports based on the basic dataset
This is a link related to premium. I hope it can help you:

Thanks Lui for confirmation. This is the answer I was hoping for / expecting.
The issue we have found is that when a user (tested on just one user to date) has their Pro licence revoked then the options in Excel (0365) to connect to the PBI datasets disappear. This could be an isolated issue but now we have confirmation on the licencing it will assist in our troubleshooting.
Thanks again.
