Hi.
I want to create a solution in Power BI service that let the users add rows in the dataset. My data contains an overview of available datasets and metadata about these dataset. The users should be able to add, edit or delete rows (there is one dataset pr row) based on their role. E.g. some users can only edit datasets with a given value and some users with another, Do you have any suggestions?
Hi @Anonymous,
Based on my research, I am afraid you could not change the dataset in the Power BI service currently, you could submit an idea in ideas forum: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas

@Anonymous hello, this is not possible!
You can create and add row using PBI Desktop, and you could edit them into PBI Desktop too.. other people can only edit using PBI desktop, but it seems not a best practice because PBI is a data visualization.
Take a look this post, where you need go to edit the data which you inserted: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Adding-a-row-manually-to-manually-created-table/td-p/58154
