Hi,
My report is refreshed and up to date in both the desktop and service models but showing different results for last year calculations. The service report is set up with a gateway and refreshes every several hours. I think the gap is too large to be explained by local and utc timezones. I'm EDT/UTC-4 for reference. Desktop snip is on the left below. If I publish the desktop, they match until the next service refresh. Is there a known issue that explains this?
Hi @funklordofusa,
Would you please share the .pbix file so that I can test on my side to see whether issue still exist?
Regards,
Yuliana Gu
Hey,
can you confirm that your Desktop and the Power BI Service are have the same understanding of the dateformat.
Just create a simple card visual with a measure that does something like this
max date = MAX('tablename'[datecolumn])
Use the same date column that is used in your other measures.
Regards,
Tom
Yes, Tom, I can confirm when I create the card as you suggest both desktop and service show the same info.
thanks,
