Issue with relationship between tables using Security

Hi,

I am observing a strange issue in PBI,I have a security table that is at storenbr and userid level which I am joining to ,y type 1 store dimension which in turn joins to type 2 store dimension whihc joins to Facttable. I created a role group and added users to that and also added the necesary filters.Issue is when I do a view as role, the Secuirty 

table filters out only the stores that user has access to which in turn filters my Store dimension type 1. But the type 2 store dimension which is joined to type 1 is getting some additional stores in addition to the actual stores. Please advise as to where could be the issue.

Hi there

I would suggest that you change your model to reflect a traditional star schema which will make it a lot easier to work with.
