I am trying to view the Usage Metrics on one of my reports - I have done this before and, while it was quite slow, it did work.
This time, no matter which report I select, the usage metrics simply do not load - they just keep spinning for 10 minutes at a time then say that there is no available resource.
The reports in question are fairly small and there are only 18 users at the company in total so I don't understand why it is taking so long.
I have tried to filter the results to use a smaller data set (dates etc.) but it doesn't make any difference.
Help??

Hi all,
Microsoft came back to me this morning to say that the performance fix was deployed to the North Europe region over the weekend.
I have tried loading the Usage Metrics again and this now loads instantly.
Hope the issue is resolved for the rest of you as well!
Thanks,
Katie

Thanks Katie,
Yes it's working for us now too.
Best wishes

Hi all,
I raised a support ticket for this and have been going back and forth with Microsoft the last couple of days. Unfortunately they haven't been able to get to the bottom of it other than them thinking it may be an isolated issue which, by the couple of responses in here state, it does not appear to be.
They have said that there is a performance enhancement that is going to be deployed to the North Europe tenant next week and have asked that I check if there is still an issue after that.
I'll let you know if I hear anything else!
@KatieH we have the same issue. Initially they worked great but recently mostly unusable with errors being thrown.
Same issue here @KatieH
I have a lot more users in the dashboard (1000+) but have been pulling the reports and exporting data successfully from the usage page for the past few weeks. This week it's been atrocious and slow - usually timing out before it the user-level data table can even load. I've had to select an individual day to load the data, and then click additional days to expand the usage range. It works this way, but is really really really slow. Not ideal.
I haven't encountered this issue. Please checked if the Usage metrics for content creators is disabled in Admin Center.
See: Admin controls for usage metrics - for Power BI administrators
If it's already enabled, please create a support ticket.
Regards,
Thanks @v-sihou-msft
The metrics option is enabled in the Admin Centre.
I have raised a ticket so will hopefully hear back soon.
Thank you for your advice.
Hi,
I can't help with this question but I'd just like to state that we are now receiving the exact same thing. The Usage Metrics link against reports in Power BI now times out. These used to work. We have very few reports, very few users and currently very few requests. So this isn't something limited just to you KatieH. I'd be interested to hear what response you get from Support
Best Wishes
Nick
