Hi,
I am having a rest api url which provides some survey data. I want to fetch those data in Power BI services and display on the dashboard.
I have treid following two ways.
Way 1: - I used Power BI desktop
I get the data usig Web API -> converted to table -> and then published it. I can see these published data in Power BI services. Here after coverting data to table, When I try to expand the colum, I get warning message that 'List may be incomplete' and by clicking it, i can see all the data.
Way 2: - This is what I want to achieve. (no to be dependent on Power BI desktop)
I added an entity in Dataflow. I get the data usinf URL.
The issue is, Here I am not getting complete set of data. neither getting warning message that 'List may be incomplete'. Hence I am loosing data here and not able to display on dashboard.
Can anone suggest please?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Vishal.

Hi @Anonymous ,
For the second way, I think it is caused by the following limitation.
Reference:
Troubleshooting data connections
For the first way, I can't reproduce the issue. And after searching, a few customers resolved it by clearing cache and re-installing the latest version of Power BI Desktop. Maybe you could have a try.

Xue Ding
