Hi

We have some datasources in MSBI which was working fine till last week, suddenly we are getting an error message from PowerBI web application saying: Unable to connect; The gateway is either offline or could not be reached.

can anyone help me with all the possible reasons which might have caused the issue and also the resolution for it.

Please make sure you are using the latest on-premises data gateway. If you are not using the personal mode version, you can try to restart the gateway using command:

net stop PBIEgwService

net start PBIEgwService

Or you can restart it directly through UI.
