Hi,
Is there a DAX function that will return the name or ID of a Power BI app ?
I am basically duplicating an app for 2 different sets of users. In one version of the app I want to implement some conditional formatting, whereas there is no conditional formatting in the 2nd app.
Is there a way to achieve this?

Hi @vanessa
Currently I do not know of anyway.
What I would do is to have 2 PBIX files and one would have the conditional formatting and the other PBIX would not
I know this means 2 PBIX files but when using Tabular Editor it makes it easy to copy and paste measures etc.
Hi @vanessa ,
As far as I know there's no such DAX function.
However you may use REST API to get the APP name and id.
Please check the following documents.

Best Regards,
