Is the personal gateway also meant to refresh the underlying data of your Power BI project too ?

Hi,

I have a Power BI project with underlying data that was recently changed however I noticed that the scheduled refresh, with my personal gateway, did not pick up this change. Is that correct ? I still had to manually publish the report in order to see the change on my dashboard. 

Funnily enough, I show the current date on my dashboard and that was changed in the scheduled refresh but not the change for the underlying data ? 

I confirmed that the Personal Gateway was running on my machine correctly before the scheduled refresh. 

I also checked in my email and discovered that the refresh failed with the following error:

An error occurred while processing the data in the dataset.

Refresh failed:

myproject has failed to refresh.
Failure details: The last refresh attempt failed because of an internal service error. This is usually a transient issue. If you try again later and still see this message, contact support.
