Hi PowerBI Community!
I'm hoping to find some answers to my questions here as I've seen no documentation around these topics. We're in the process of standing up our PowerBI environment at my company and we're deciding on using App Workspaces to publish our reports to, then publish the App Workspaces to Apps for end users to consume. Based on that model I'm wonderig the following:
1. It seems app workspaces to apps are a 1 to 1 relationship. For example I couldn't have my "All Reports" App Workspace and pick and choose different reports from that workspace to publish to the "Sales Suite" App or the "C Suite" App. Am I correct in thinking this?
2. If the above statement is true and we would have to create a "Sales Suite" app workspace to publish to the "Sales Suite" app and a "C Suite" app workspace to publish to the "C Suite" app, I'm wondering if an end user could pin a tile from a report in the Sales Suite app to a dashboard in the C Suite app?
3. What are people using for PowerBI Report/Dashboard repositories/version control? My plan was to use SVN (our current repo).
I sincerely apprecate any insight you can provide! Thank you!
Hi @Anonymous ,

You are correct here, an APP maps to a workspace, the dashboard is a content inside a workspace.
>>I'm wondering if an end user could pin a tile from a report in the Sales Suite app to a dashboard in the C Suite app?
It's not supported, It can't cross multiple workspace. And report/dashboard can't shared into an app workspace.

Teige
