Hi Team,
My PBI report source type is Excel which is placed in Office 365 (Sharepoint). I connected using get data --> web and give the link for my excel file.. In my PBI desktop everything works fine after i gave authentication as "Organizational".
Problem starts after i upload that pbi report in one of my organizational workspace. The PBI file also placed as same as source file. Error shows like Your data source can't be refreshed because the credentials are invalid. Please update your credentials and try again.
When i try to edit credentials, it shows drop downs for choose Anonymous,Basic&Windows.
When i check gateway connection it shows "Connect Directly"
What should i do to make my dataset always up to date.
HI @Thiyagu,
Can you please share more detailed information about your issue?
For example:
connection mode, data source credentials setting.
Regards,
Xiaoxin Sheng

Hi @v-shex-msft

Credentials type is organization account
I can able to refresh in my local desktop.. but in service i dont see credential type organizational
Please advise to make it works.
