Internal Service Error

Hi All,

I've got this error occuring sporadically across multiple large data sets, on a user basis run on Power BI Premium Per User only.  I'm looking for a solution which doesn't involve me removing Reports and republishing Apps every time it occurs as this isn't sustainable.

The last refresh attempt failed because of an internal service error. This is usually a transient issue. If you try again later and still see this message, contact support.

Our Gateways our well provisioned, so i don't think it's that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Wil256

In the refresh failed email does it mentioned anything about 'Client with IP address: xx:xx:xx:xx is not allowed to access the server?

Hi @Wil256

This could happen for quite a few reasons. If you are using PPU I would suggest scheduling multiple refreshes so if one fails it can try again.

You could use Power Automate so that if you get the failure email to then refresh the dataset?
