Install App Automatically for Entire Organization

Hello,

I was wondering if there was an option to promote and install an app to every user in the entire organization, rather than just a few specific individuals or groups. The option is available for specific individuals, but is removed when "Entire Organization" is selected.

We are aware that users will be able to open up Appsource and download the app themselves, but if we can push an app to directly install, that would eliminate a few steps and allow us to more easily drive adoption.

Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous,

Sorry for the delay!

By my confirmed by PG, we currently don’t support installing apps automatically for the entire organization. It is only supported for specific individuals, distribution groups, and security groups. You’ll notice the “install app automatically” goes away when you select “Entire organization” radio button under permissions.

An alternative for you would be to provide permissions for the entire organization and have them email the app-link to all the users. The app will automatically install once they click it.

Best Regards,

Cherry
