Incremental refresh

Hi All,

I have table of Part about 60K item since 1997, from which 10K of those are active. I would like to set incremental refresh based on any change / update. The problem (or I misunderstood the incremental refresh setting) is the field saying:

Store rows from the past *

Part could be still active since 1997, so if I set store rows from the past 10 years even, those active part before 2012 would be wiped off the model right?

As your data size is only 10K, you can go without incremental
If you still want to go with then Store rows of 30 Years or greater (so that it will keep your records from 1997)

Refresh your data for same 30 Years or greater but check detect data change on updated column

this way it will only update your data for updated records
