Hello
I have a dataset today which takes 17 hours to refresh on Power BI desktop. It times out on the Power BI service due to such a longer duration of the refresh.
Now I want to implement incremental refresh on this which can bring down the refresh (incremental) time to 1 or 2 hours hopefully.
But my question/problem is - how do I get successful on doing that 1st full refresh on Power BI service with such a large dataset. Or for that matter, any such full refresh in future for this dataset?
Is there a way to split this full refresh in parts and retaining all data in the dataset?
Anyone have come across this situation?
Regards
Hi there, did you solve your question? I am also trying to set up Incremental Refresh on a large dataset, but too am struggling with completing the first refresh as it will time out after 5 hours.
No, I couldn't solve it.
So much so that my customer ended the project because of this limitation 😞
