Incremental Refresh and report parameters

Hi All,

I have implemented incremental refresh in the Power BI report and published on Service. However I am having some more parameters like server, database name, etc. apart from RangeStart and RangeEnd.

When I don't enable incremental refresh, it's showing all parameters on service and once I enable it, it not showing any parameters. I know RangeStart and RangeEnd will be not shown, but other parameters (Server, Databse, etc.) should be shown.

This is a bug or it's because of still in Preview? Thank you.

Regards,

Niket Talati

Hi @v-yuta-msft,

Yes I checked those posts before creating this one. Unfortunetly both are not related to the issue which I mentioned here.

To me also, it looks limitation/bug, may be I will log a ticket to Microsoft on this.

Thanks,

Niket Talati

It seems like this issue is a known limitation, please refer to similar cases here:

I also just started testing incremental refresh policies, and I noticed this same issue.

I have a couple of additional parameters. But in the Service, it says "Parameters haven't been defined for this dataset yet. If you want to set parameters, use the Query Editor."
