Incremental Dataflow on Oracle ADW fails with Oracle: ORA-01013: user requested cancel of current op

I've setup an Incremental Dataflow based on Oracle ADW through a Gateway in a PPU capacity.

This is based on 24 months/partition of around 2m rows each.

The dataflow initial refresh errors out with

Error: PipelineException: Oracle: . RootActivityId = e00065ce-fa6f-4fb8-8384-73a435dc6d1e.Param1 = PipelineException: Oracle: ORA-01013: user requested cancel of current operation  Request ID: cafb4d32-bb8b-85fc-8be9-d975e86ad294.

While loading the data without incremental this completes successfully.

I assume the issue might come from the stack of 24 queries creating a queue in the database and timing out after some time?

Would you please advise on how to troubleshoot this issue?

Hi @Guillaume_ ,

Please try below steps:

1. please check your increment settings, confirm it's correct

2. please confirm you doesn't do some operations to block the query folding

3. please export the gataway log to analysis

For dataflow refresh, please refer these documents: Understanding and optimizing dataflows refresh - Power BI | Microsoft Docs , Using incremental refresh with dataflows - Power Query | Microsoft Docs
