Import Excel data to power Bi service

 

I am not able to import the excel data into power BI service(free version...trial version has expired).  Getting the message as We couldn't find any data formatted as a table. 

 

My data source is simple excel with two columns and few hundred rows...

There is a way in Excel to tell Excel, that your two columns are a „table“ - instead of just a bunch of cells.

Another way is directly to connect to the Excel file in Power BI Desktop, create reports in Power BI Desktop and publish reports to Power BI Service.

Another way is directly to connect to the Excel file in Power BI Desktop, create reports in Power BI Desktop and publish reports to Power BI Service.
