I want to link individual hyperlinks to each piece of data on the chart.

Hello Everyone,

I have a requirement, I want to link individual hyperlinks to each piece of data on the chart. Is it possible?

Thanks in advance.

@Kyubeom_Kim From my understanding you would lose the "web url" data category format that you can apply in the chart itself. I get around this by just having a seperate table or multi-row card near or under my chart to hold the URL that I can filter via the chart and click.

Thank you for answer.

What I want is to apply individual hyperlinks to the common numeric data in the chart.
In other words, what I want is to attach a hyperlink to each data bar. (Assuming a bar chart.)
The "web url" data category format can not be applied because the data is not url.
Is there any answer to this question?

@Kyubeom_Kim

In Power BI Desktop, it doesn't have the feature like the "Go to report" Action with parameter passed in SSRS which can redirect to other report displaying corresponding data. You may submit a feature request on idea: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi

For your requirement, I suggest you add a table visual along with your chart, it will cascaded filter the corresponding data when your click on the bar/column in your chart.

Simon Hou
