How to turn-off auto data refresh everytime I publish a pbix file?

Hi All,

Every time I publish my work from Power BI desktop to online, the dataset runs a refresh by itself. I do not want this as the refresh takes ages and I cannot publish new version in the mean time.

Hi @vtruong ,

You can try to turn off 'include in report refresh' option(query editor) to disable the data refresh when report loading.

Notice: it will also cancel the data refresh request on current query table.

This query table will update if you enable schedule refresh on power bi service side.
