How to share reports with people that don't have power bi accounts

Can I share reports with people that don't have BI installed on their computers or an account? Thanks.

You can, but they will have to sign up with a Power BI account. Unless, you send them the PBIX file and they install Desktop. Unless, you use Publish to Web feature, and then they do not need Desktop or an Account.

Hi @ammartino44,

With the Publish to web feature, everyone who has the link or embed code of the report can view the report with no restriction. If you care about security issue, I would recommend you publish reports from Power BI Desktop to Power BI Service, then create a dashboard for these reports and share the dashboard to users. For more details about sharing dashboard with others, please review this article: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-service-share-unshare-dashboard/ .

To view the reports in the dashboard, users that you share dashboard with can sign up for a Power BI free account or a Power BI Pro trial account following the instructions in this article.

Thanks,

Hi,

I've tried to share my dashboard to my teams who are free user, but they cannot open the dashboard unless they upgrade their account to pro (or get the free trial).

Is there any steps I have missed? or there are any change about the licence term?

Thank you.

In the "Publish to web feature" is possible to add page level filters like those in "Power BI Pro" app?
