How to share Filtered reports to others and keep original report constant

Hi Everyone,

Many people in different groups need to use my report, but they don't want to filter everytime.

How can I share filtered reports to others and keep original report constant?

Hi Kelly,

The status of the slicers will be recorded if you save the report. 

1. Use RLS. The users can see the part of the report that is defined in the RLS. But they couldn't see the other part of the report. Please refer to power-bi/service-admin-rls.

2. Use Bookmarks. The users can click the bookmark to get their reports quickly. Please refer to power-bi/desktop-bookmarks.

Could I add bookmarks on the Power BI Service directly?

I have to go back to PBI desktop to add bookmark now and I can only choose the bookmarks which I add on PBI Desktop.

Yes, you can. This feature is generally available now.

You need to change the status of the report to Editing view. Please try it out.

That's great! I have tried adding successfully. How can I update the bookmark? I see there is a button "Update".

Hi Kelly,

You can just click the 'update'. If you click it, the bookmark will replace the old status with the current status.
