How to setup an alert from the report visual instead of dashboard tile when KPI value changes

Hello all!

I'm trying to setup an alert from a report visual (score acrd). So that it will sent me or specific user/user groups an alert when score card value changes or exceeds threshold number. I know that I can do this from a dashboard tile. However, I'm trying to set it up from a work space report visual. We have about 50 reports and some of them are pretty complex took year to develop. It will take a lot of efforts to convert all of our reports dashboard tiles, probably a few months. I couldn't find any article/blog info where it show how to setup an alert from a report visual not from the dashboard tile. Can I probably use Microsoft Flow to do this? Is this feature only available for Dashboard tiles but not for the regular work space report visual? Really appreciate the suggestions, help on this.

Thank you so much!

Hi, @Anonymous

Currently, alerts can only be set on tiles pinned from report visuals and only on Gauges, KPIs & Cards. It can't be set on Report. Even Microsoft dataflow need work with data alerts set on dashboard which you can refer integrate Power BI data alerts with Power Automate. You need pin your visuals on dashboard and then set alerts.
