How to publish to website

Hi all,

I have a quick question, how to publish to the website as the publish to website bottom is missing?

And also if I publish to the website is it possible to let all the people (Even for those who are non powerBi pro user nor our co-workers) see it?

Thanks a lot!

Hi @skylar ,

It seems that your “Publish to web” function is disabled. Possible reasons are as follows.

  1. Here is some limitation of “Publish to web”:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-publish-to-web#limitations
  2. Administrator disabled the publish to web feature.

As for you second question, when you use Publish to web, anyone on the Internet can view your published report or visual. This requires no authentication and includes viewing detail level data your reports aggregate. Before publishing a report, make sure it is okay for you to share the data and visualizations publicly. Do not publish confidential or proprietary information. If in doubt, check your organization's policies before publishing.

It is weird that in some of the reports they have the option of publish to website, whereas others don't have it.

This is why?

Thanks a lot.
