How to make data refresh faster from web api

HI,

i am importing data from web api and it has limit of 2000 rows per connection. There are about 40000 rows that i need to pull. So I created a single connection to the datasource url with a function that iterates. So there will be 20 iterations. Everytime i hit refresh,

the query makes a connection to pull 2000 rows and it repeats for 20 times. and I have 3 diffrent queries which will also iterates multiple times. All queries are loading parallelly but still this process is taking lot of time to refresh  and we need to refresh this dataset very frequently. Is there way we can optimize this refresh process?

Hi @Anonymous,

Based on my research, I am afraid you could not avoid the performence problem in Power BI, I suggest you get your data in other way, then you could import your data to the Power BI.
