Hi @Anonymous ,

You can enter range for variable value in both desktop and service:

For desktop:

 For service:

For more details, please refer to the official document : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-my/power-bi/service-edit-sap-variables

Please find the attached screenshot,

For Fund/Sponsored Program variable, I would like to give values as a range like 52500100000 to 600000000000 rather than individual values.

Is there a way to do that?

Hi @Anonymous , have you tried to:

  1. create Parameters in PowerQuery/ PowerBI (e.g. ValueStart, ValueEnd)
  2. create a List in PowerQuery from ValueStart to ValueEnd (Tip: {ValueStart .. ValueEnd} )
  3. use this List as Parameter in your SAP Query. In PowerQuery there should be a step that calls the function "Cube.Transform". There you can switch the entered value with your List

Hi @Anonymous ,

This format is fixed in power bi, I suggest you to find a solution in SAP BW commuity.

Hi,

The format works fine in SAP BW, but when I enter the same format in Power BI i.e, 52500100000 - 600000000000 , I get an error saying value not found.

Value from - Value to , does not seem to work in Power BI.

Thanks

I suggest you create an idea in Power BI forum:https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas to make this feature coming sooner.
